Go to the Education Building of Trees for Tomorrow's campus at 519 Sheridan Street. Learn about Northwoods animals that you may be seeing in the woods, in your yard, or near the roads you travel. After we find out about who might be around and how they act, we will go outdoors and make casts using Trees' molds to make a cast of the track you want most. This technique can be applied at home to save a track you want to study. Limit 25 kids. Kids under 10 need an adult with them.

Have you ever wondered what bees are up to inside their hives? Come to the Library and check out the portable visible hive brought to us by Dottie Reeder of Sonny Bees Honey Farm. Dottie will present a program telling us about bees, their activities and their importance in our world. If we are lucky, we'll see the queen in the section of hive that comes to the library. Dottie will field any questions we may have. She will also bring honey sweetened "sugar" cookies and honey lemonade. Unless it is raining, we plan to set up our program in the grassy area just outside the side entrance to the upper Ministry location so the bees will be shaded and cool. The plexiglas walls will allow us to observe activities without disturbing the bees.
