The Olson Memorial Library maintains an audiobook collection of fiction and nonfiction titles available in CD and Playaway formats. Items are available in both the Youth and Adult Departments.
The Olson Memorial Library subscribes to several ebook and eaudiobook libraries. Olson Memorial Library card holders can download and read or listen to their books on a variety of devices including Kindles, smartphones and tablets. New to ebooks? Purchase Suggestions and Interlibrary Loan
Earbuds are available for purchase at the the Information desk for members using the library’s computers. Headphones are also available at our computer workstations.
Library Study Rooms have adjustable lighting and, while they are not soundproof, block out most background noise. These rooms are available for everyone to use, but if you have a sensory processing disorder, you may book these rooms in advance. Please call the Information desk to secure permission to make these bookings. A photo ID is required to check into a study room.
Computer Lab and Screenreaders
All tables and desks in the computer lab are of appropriate height and depth for those using a wheelchair. All monitors and chairs heights are adjustable.
Home Delivery Service is for Olson Memorial Library members of any age who want to use library materials, but who, due to temporary or permanent circumstances, are unable to visit the library on a regular basis. One-on-one appointments with library staff are available to answer your specific technology related questions. Call the Information desk at 715-479-8070 to schedule an appointment or just drop in and ask for assistance.

Parking Entrance and Walkup Front Entrance
Accessible parking spaces are available in the library’s parking lot. You may park in the parking lot entry zone to drop off books through the outdoor book drop.
Both entrances have button operated automatic doors.
Getting to the Library
The library is completely accessible by sidewalk on both Spruce and Main Street. It is directly 2 blocks north of the GHT cycling trail. Northwoods Transit provides on demand pick-up for the general public and senior/disabled citizens. All buses are ADA accessible.
